Consumer complaints referral service 2009

Thousands of consumers in our country still suffer at the hands of unscrupulous businesses that cost them millions of Rands every year.

About three thousand consumers approach us every month to seek protection and redress. These complaints are received by telephone, email, fax and walk-ins.

The majority of consumer complaints are referred for resolution to organisations such as Council for Medical Schemes, National Credit Regulator, Department of Trade and Industry, ICASA and the Consumer Affairs Offices in KwaZulu Natal and the Western Cape.
